Karen Kurlander Ph.D. has many years of training and experience with stress management interventions. Through personalized treatment she can help identify the sources of anxiety, analyze the emotions associated with it and help change the resulting negative thoughts and behaviors. Her extensive knowledge of cognitive behavioral interventions, including Systematic Relaxation, Mindfulness, and Biofeedback, allows her to find the most effective method to reduce the physical and psychological effects of anxiety.
Dr. Kurlander’s goal is to help people experience freedom from the limiting effects of anxiety and improve the quality of their lives. Her work teaches them how to maintain a calm orientation that supports greater happiness and effectiveness in relationships, work and other aspects of life.
